Local Culture
Most of our staff are Shangaan and hail from the communities that border Ulusaba. English and Afrikaans are both spoken at Ulusaba however locals will be thrilled if you greet them in Shangaan. Here are a few basic words for you to try:
Avuxeni! - Pronounced 'ah-vu-sheni' is the traditional "hello"
iNkomu - Pronounced 'n-komoo' is the traditional "thank you"
Minjani - Pronounced 'mim-jaani' means "how are you?"
